Your B.C. Medical Services Plan (MSP) coverage does not generally cover the cost of a visit to a naturopathic doctor. However, some individuals may be eligible for financial assistance with MSP. MSP beneficiaries receiving premium assistance may be eligible for supplementary benefits. Many extended health plans do cover consultations and treatments, and coverage may differ depending on your provider. Please check with your Human Resources Department or the provider of your health insurance plan to make sure you get the coverage you are entitled to.

It is important to note that Naturopathic Services may be claimed on your Federal Income Tax return as a medical expense.
